About the Role

This full-time position at Royal Inn Hotel in Karachi requires a dedicated Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to exemplary cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include cleaning, making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. Additionally, the role encompasses laundry duties such as collecting, washing, drying, folding, and properly storing linens and towels. Room and equipment inspections, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to safety and hygiene protocols are essential components of this role. Professional interaction with guests and collaboration with the housekeeping team are fundamental to providing a comfortable and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness levels in guest rooms and public spaces through thorough cleaning routines.
• Manage laundry processes including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Inspect rooms and hotel equipment for cleanliness and functionality, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety and hygiene standards in daily work procedures.
• Engage courteously and professionally with guests, addressing requests and supporting their comfort.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping with excellent attention to detail and efficiency.
• Knowledge and experience in laundry operations including proper handling and storage of linens.
• Strong communication abilities and customer service orientation to effectively interact with guests and staff.
• Capability to manage physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting moderate weights throughout shifts.
• Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills to comprehend instructions and accurately complete checklists.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as per hotel needs.
