About the Role
Book of the Month is seeking a motivated and ambitious People, Talent & Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. This position involves managing the recruitment cycle for certain roles while supporting a variety of people operations activities. The coordinator’s contributions will directly enhance the company's hiring, onboarding, and employee retention efforts. We value individuals with a strong work ethic, rapid learning ability, excellent communication, and curiosity about people functions within a dynamic, entrepreneurial e-commerce setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of candidates, including organizing interview schedules, maintaining job postings, and conducting interviews and talent assessments.
- Collaborate closely with the PTR Manager, hiring leads, and candidates to advance recruitment processes efficiently.
- Administer people-related programs such as employee recognition, freelance workforce coordination, and new hire onboarding.
- Maintain accurate trackers and project plans to support People, Talent, and Recruiting team initiatives with keen attention to detail.
- Establish and nurture productive working relationships with the PTR Manager, CEO, and other key stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 3 years of professional experience in recruiting or people operations roles, demonstrating resilience and proactive problem-solving.
- Show a genuine interest in people functions within a lean, fast-evolving entrepreneurial e-commerce company and a desire to deepen knowledge in this field.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and the ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Experience working in small, fast-paced, changing environments, with a proven record of overcoming challenges.
- Able to work quickly without compromising quality or standards.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, thoroughness, and ownership of responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to positively represent the employer’s brand.
- Maintain professionalism and maturity in all workplace interactions.
Compensation
The salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
