Role Summary

The People & Culture Executive will support the HR function at the hotel by managing team member relations, documentation, coordination, and administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and a strong service mindset.

Team Member Relations

  • Build and sustain positive relationships with employees across the hotel.
  • Work with all departments on HR-related activities and support needs.
  • Track annual leave and sick leave balances accurately.
  • Assist with employee relations matters in coordination with HR leadership.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Create and keep secure employee files, records, and databases up to date.
  • Review and audit employee documentation on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain MIS/HR information systems for related HR processes.
  • Follow all applicable health, hygiene, safety, security, and fire regulations.

Administrative Support

  • Sort and respond to incoming correspondence in a timely and organized manner.
  • Maintain the HR Director’s calendar, appointments, and daily follow-up log.
  • Organize meetings, prepare minutes, and distribute them to the right stakeholders.
  • Create letters, memos, and other documents using office software.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail while keeping files orderly.

Coordination and Team Support

  • Communicate professionally with both internal colleagues and external contacts.
  • Support teamwork by building constructive working relationships.
  • Provide administrative help to the HR team whenever needed.
  • Oversee stationery purchasing and stock for the HR department.

Professional Conduct and Confidentiality

  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment.
  • Maintain a polite, professional, and respectful approach at all times.
  • Escalate key updates or concerns within the hotel to HR leadership.

Continuous Improvement and Development

  • Review HR practices and suggest ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Follow HR service standards and look for opportunities to enhance them.
  • Take responsibility for ongoing personal and professional growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and HRIS/MIS platforms, with awareness of local labor law and HR best practices.
  • Careful with details, proactive in solving problems, and able to manage time well.
  • Professional, collaborative, and committed to high-quality internal customer service.
  • Adaptable, willing to learn, and motivated to grow in the role.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred, and professional HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM are an added advantage.
  • 2 to 3 years of HR experience, ideally in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations in hospitality.
