Job Overview
As an Executive Assistant supporting two high-performing Consultants, you will play a vital role in enabling client service excellence within a demanding and dynamic search milieu. This position requires managing multiple priorities simultaneously, demanding a high level of precision and adaptability. Prior experience in executive search or a comparably fast-paced professional services environment is highly preferred to quickly acclimate to the role’s exacting pace and expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a principal liaison for senior clients and candidates, demonstrating exceptional communication skills marked by tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Efficiently juggle a fluid set of priorities in a fast-moving work setting.
- Handle substantial daily workloads under pressure, utilizing structured systems and meeting strict deadlines.
- Prepare detailed candidate profiles, references, proposals, and briefing materials aimed for client review with a focus on accuracy and promptness.
- Exercise initiative by independently managing communications and engagements on behalf of the Consultants with clients and candidates.
- Proactively anticipate and address business and assignment requirements to maximize the Consultants’ effectiveness.
- Organize complex calendars and travel plans internationally, alongside scheduling interviews, calls, and video meetings.
- Utilize research tools to garner pertinent information for company presentations.
- Assume full responsibility for managing all aspects of assignment administration.
- Support fellow team members with a flexible, cooperative attitude, including providing back-up for other Executive Assistants as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably possess a background in executive search or management consulting to align with the fast-paced, confidential nature of the work.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
- Display self-reliance, confidence, and the ability to act without direct supervision.
- Be a natural at building relationships and working collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrate autonomy and a strong sense of accountability for assigned tasks.
- Adopt a project management approach, showing curiosity and a capacity to ask insightful questions.
- Have a stable and loyal employment history that reflects commitment.
- Be proficient with essential software applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, databases, and conducting internet research.
Compensation and Working Conditions
This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, supplemented by a noteworthy bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits such as free daily meals. The position follows a hybrid working format, requiring attendance at the office three days weekly, with the option to work remotely for the remaining two days.
