About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist specializing in construction payroll to join our client in the construction industry. The position is based in Renchen, offering a hybrid working model with three days onsite and two days remote work each week. The role involves independently managing the monthly payroll for a defined group of about 150 industrial employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute monthly payroll processing, focusing on construction-related wages.
- Manage payroll for approximately 150 industrial workers, within a broader team responsible for 350 personnel.
- Handle payroll for staff operating at construction sites and company depots.
- Apply specific regulations and collective agreements of the construction industry in payroll calculations.
- Process payroll-related issues and ongoing updates.
- Maintain and verify personnel and payroll data.
- Collaborate closely with internal contacts and relevant interfaces.
- Ensure compliance, punctuality, and correctness of all payroll activities.
- Support payroll-related reporting and inquiries.
Candidate Profile
- Professional payroll experience, preferably with construction payroll expertise.
- Solid knowledge of wage accounting for industrial employees in construction.
- Experience using SAP systems, especially SAP HCM and Payroll modules.
- Good understanding of income tax and social security legislation.
- Methodical, conscientious, and dependable work approach.
- Ability to work independently while enjoying team collaboration.
- Open to professionals with payroll knowledge eager to deepen expertise in construction payroll.
