Position Summary

The Curator serves as the welcoming face of Fluent, acting as the initial point of contact for patients visiting our dispensary. This customer-centric sales role involves educating patients on medical cannabis products and assisting them in selecting suitable options based on their healthcare provider’s guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while meeting individual and team sales targets.
• Assist patients in selecting products aligned with medical recommendations and personal needs.
• Educate clients on the safe and effective application of medical cannabis.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Fluent’s product range and benefits.
• Accurately and efficiently handle sales transactions.
• Document customer interactions and pursue resolution of outstanding issues.
• Refer unresolved concerns to management as necessary.
• Help with inventory checks, sales reporting, and daily operational duties.
• Support delivery operations in a Health Educator role when required.
• Work in cooperation with store leadership to uphold operational excellence and superior patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum one year of sales experience.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to clear a comprehensive background check.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a cannabis dispensary or healthcare retail.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role operates in a retail dispensary environment, regularly using computers, tablets, telephones, and office equipment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands and arms to operate equipment and assist customers.
• Ability to read and communicate product information using electronic devices.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Consistent, dependable attendance is required.

Schedule

• Part-time position based onsite.
• Availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage of $14.50. Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, and opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
