When the Store Manager is absent, you assume all leadership responsibilities. Your performance will be judged by how effectively you drive sales and maximize profit goals for the assigned store location.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership abilities with at least one year of experience in a customer-facing retail setting
• Self-assured and committed to providing outstanding customer experience
• Driven to achieve excellent results, fueled by enthusiasm for customer interaction and sporting goods
• Adaptable and creative in responding to shifting demands and opportunities in a fast-changing omni-channel retail environment
• Capable of executing tasks independently without supervision
• Strong cognitive and numerical skills encompassing problem analysis, decision-making, and financial assessments
• High ethical standards, values, integrity, and trustworthiness
• Availability to work flexibly including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods

Responsibilities

• Coach and inspire your team to achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through solid product knowledge and effective teamwork with colleagues
• Implement sales strategies, manage customer experience, merchandising, visual standards, and operational expectations
• Serve as the liaison between customers, sales staff, and store leadership
• Continuously learn and convey product expertise and trends in order to meet customer needs
• Stay updated with current and upcoming product knowledge and market trends
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace atmosphere
