Job description
Overview
SP+, part of Metropolis, is an AI-driven company focused on real-world mobility. It uses computer vision to deliver checkout-free parking, removing the need for tickets, machines, apps, or credit cards. Drivers can simply enter and exit without extra steps.
The company operates the largest parking network in the United States, supported by more than 23,000 employees across over 4,000 sites in North America and Europe.
Its goal is to reimagine parking and expand checkout-free experiences to everyday places so people can save time while living, working, and enjoying their day.

The role centers on keeping the lot organized, safe, and customer-friendly throughout the shift.
- Guide arriving drivers to open parking spaces.
- Monitor the number of vehicles on site during the shift when needed.
- Issue written notices to tenants and guests who break garage rules.
- Walk transient and reserved parking areas, or use motor carts where available.
- Help customers locate their vehicles if they cannot remember where they parked.
- Report to work on every scheduled day, on time, and in proper uniform.
- Answer customer questions politely and direct them to the Facility Manager when additional help is needed.
- Manage vehicle flow at entrances and exits as required.
- Support maintenance and repair of parking equipment and complete general upkeep tasks as assigned.
- Inform the Facility Manager of accidents, policy breaches, safety concerns, or any unusual incidents.
- Relay debris, water, oil spills, and similar issues to the garage office.
- Cover valet duties when authorized and necessary.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the garage layout, nearby major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
- Help the Facility Manager with other tasks as needed.

To succeed in the role, the employee must be able to carry out all essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodation available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Education and experience: less than high school education, or about one month of related experience/training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
If driving a company vehicle or driving on company business is required, a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record must be maintained.
Shift availability can vary by location. Depending on hiring needs, second shift, third shift, and/or weekend availability may be required.

Math ability: candidates should be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers, including calculations involving U.S. currency and values in 10s and 100s.
Employees are expected to keep a neat, clean appearance and remain in full uniform at all times.
Physical demands include regular standing, walking, and handling cash and equipment by hand; occasional sitting and climbing or balancing; and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
Pay and Benefits
The compensation rate is $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.
Eligible employees may participate in benefit programs such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, long- and short-term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
