About QNB Group

QNB Group began in 1964 as Qatar’s first Qatari-owned commercial bank and has since developed into the largest banking group across the Middle East and Africa. The group employs over 28,000 people, serves up to 20 million customers, and operates through 1,000 branches and service locations supported by an ATM network of 4,300 machines.

The bank is consistently recognized by major credit rating agencies, including Standard & Poor’s (A), Moody’s (Aa3), and Fitch (A+). It has also received multiple awards from respected international financial publications. In addition, QNB is regarded as the most valuable banking brand in the Middle East and Africa according to Brand Finance Magazine, supported by strong financial results and ongoing international expansion. The group also runs an active community support program and backs social, educational, and sporting initiatives.

The role ensures dividends are paid accurately and on time to shareholders of corporate clients under the relevant contractual arrangements with Group Corporate Credit. It also oversees IPO-related activity for corporate customers by managing the subscription process. In addition, the role supports initiatives to improve the IPO processing platform and to enhance dividend distribution for non-Qatari shareholders by enabling dividend payments in their own currency.

  • Understand the key drivers of both financial and non-financial performance for the bank.
  • Encourage cost efficiency, productivity, and prudent use of resources to reduce waste and improve value.
  • Work with internal teams to build service level agreements that improve turnaround times for dividend and IPO processing and strengthen customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with lead banks and corporate customers where needed.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with related departments and units to support overall group objectives.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to internal and external auditors as well as the compliance team when required.
  • Respond to customer queries related to bank products and help resolve their requests.
  • Ensure dividend and IPO activities are handled in line with approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Process dividend and IPO transactions accurately and within agreed service timelines.
  • Oversee the timely disbursement of dividends for QNB and other companies to their shareholders.
  • Maintain shareholder unit files in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with other banks involved in IPO processing when applicable.
  • Supervise IPO subscription handling and ensure all required documents are collected to satisfy QNB and DSM requirements.
  • Ensure all KYC and AML checks are followed throughout the IPO process.
  • Support marketing efforts for QNB’s dividend distribution and IPO processing services to listed corporate clients in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Lead and encourage process-improvement initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Promote better-than-standard practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Encourage creative thinking and recognise innovative ideas in both routine and complex work.
