Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Valet Attendant role for all shifts in Miami, Florida. The position pays $12.00 per hour plus tips and is intended for candidates who enjoy working with people in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Guest Service and Communication
- Handle guest questions and concerns promptly, using practical judgment to solve issues as they come up.
- Provide clear direction to customers by knowing local streets, landmarks, and highways well.
- Explain valet pricing and operating procedures in a straightforward and professional way.
Vehicle Safety and Daily Operations
- Check each vehicle before parking and document any visible issues or observations.
- Drive carefully at all times and comply with traffic rules and safe driving standards.
- Report collisions, hazards, or policy breaches to management immediately.
Professional Expectations
- Arrive on time and ready to work for every assigned shift.
- Keep the uniform neat, complete, and worn properly throughout the shift.
- Support supervisors and assist with other operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a valet attendant is required.
- A valid state driver’s license with a current address and a clean or acceptable driving record is necessary.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is a strong advantage.
- Must be available for flexible scheduling, including second shift, third shift, and weekends.
- Strong reading, writing, and professional communication skills are needed for interaction with customers and coworkers.
- Applicants must be able to provide legal work authorization documentation if selected for hire.
- Must be able to stay composed, follow directions, and adapt to delays or changing conditions.
Physical Requirements
- The role involves long periods of standing, walking, and handling cash or equipment with the hands.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may also be required.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
- Employees should remain attentive, safe, and professional in a high-activity setting.
