Job description

Position Overview

The Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at Weill Cornell Medicine, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, is seeking applicants for a faculty role in New York, NY. The position offers either full-time employment with potential to assume the program director role if educational qualifications are met, or part-time faculty roles. Exceptional candidates with strong clinical expertise, teaching abilities, and leadership qualities are invited to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver academic and clinical instruction, including supervision of residents in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at NYP/WCM.
  • Engage in the faculty practice of the division which includes providing on-call clinical coverage.
  • Contribute actively to research projects within the division.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must hold a DDS or DMD degree.
  • Be a current or soon-to-be graduate of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency from the U.S. or Canada.
  • Eligible for dental licensure in New York State.
  • Board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) or qualified to sit for the examination.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary ranges from $375,000 to $475,000, tailored to the candidate's credentials and academic contributions.
