About the Role

Working Hours & Payment
- Before School Care: 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM
- After School Care: 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM
- Vacation Care: Flexible hours up to 38 per week
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, guaranteed on all school days
- Location: Work conveniently close to home
- Compensation: $47 to $50 per hour plus 12% superannuation
- Additional Retention Payment Scheme: $2.00 to $2.15 per hour on top of base pay

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging programs including science experiments, sports, and creative arts that captivate children’s interests
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that ensures every child feels valued
- Prepare nutritious and appealing snacks to sustain children's energy throughout activities
- Collaborate with the Programs Engagement Manager and compliance team to uphold quality through assessments and ratings
- Establish strong relationships with all stakeholders to deliver integrated out-of-school-hours (OOSH) services
- Oversee daily operational tasks ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery
Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: Holding or pursuing qualifications such as a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Early Childhood, Primary Education, School Aged Care, Community Services, or Youth Work is desirable (please verify qualification acceptance)
- Personal Attributes: Warm, engaging, and proactive attitude
- Mandatory Certifications: Valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates, or willingness to obtain them
- Communication Skills: Ability to build trust instantly with children, educators, and school leadership
