About the Service
Join Saint Stephen's College, Upper Coomera as an OSHC Coordinator, managing after school care programs delivering fun and educational activities to children on school days.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 2:15 pm to 6:00 pm, with guaranteed shifts on all school days
- Hourly pay rate of $45.46 plus 12% superannuation
- Additional $4.32 hourly bonus through Worker Retention Payment Scheme
- Work close to home location

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the OSHC service by designing and implementing engaging programs including science experiments, sports, educational, and creative arts activities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment ensuring every child feels valued
- Prepare healthy snacks that support children's energy levels
- Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager and compliance experts to uphold quality standards and assessments
- Connect with all stakeholders fostering successful, integrated outside school hours care programs
- Manage daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess or be pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, School Aged Care, Community Services, Youth Work, or related fields; verification of approved qualifications is available
- Exhibit warm, approachable demeanor and proactive mindset
- Hold or willing to obtain valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management certifications
- Excellent communication skills to build trust quickly with children, educators, and school leadership
