Online English Writing and Analysis Course Developer - All Levels

Overview

JadeClass Education offers specialized Writing and Analysis courses tailored for talented students with strong English skills aged between 6 and 16. These students are carefully selected based on their English proficiency, behavior, and motivation, aimed at enhancing their written English to prepare them for overseas education. The curriculum concentrates on equipping students with practical skills to support their academic efforts.

Job Role and Duties

This role involves developing and delivering structured, interactive online classes in small groups of up to eight students over a semester. Topics covered include story analysis, persuasive and narrative writing, analytical writing, and literature study. Teaching materials are provided by the design team in a ready-to-use format, requiring teachers only to familiarize themselves and teach. Support for grading and student assistance beyond class is managed by in-house staff, ensuring the course operates independently from its creators.

• Develop and conduct engaging online sessions tailored for groups of up to eight students.
• Create, evaluate, and refine course materials according to JadeClass quality standards.
• Commit to designing a comprehensive course consisting of 15 lessons.

Work Schedule

Meetings related to course development occur online any day of the week between 08:00 and 20:00 Singapore time (UTC +8) on the ClassIn platform. Classes are scheduled on weekends during fall and spring semesters, and Monday through Saturday in the summer session.

For Summer 2026, classes will be held from early July to late August, twice weekly on either Monday and Thursday or Wednesday and Saturday, from 08:30 to 20:30 Singapore time.

• July-August: Monday and Thursday, 08:30–20:30 (UTC+8)
• Wednesday and Saturday, 08:30–20:30 (UTC+8)

Compensation

• 360 USD for each newly developed lesson, covering in-class materials, homework, grading keys, and additional resources.
• Paid separately for teaching time at 75 USD per 90-minute lesson.
• Payments processed via Wise between the 10th and 12th of each month.

Technical Requirements

• A stable internet connection with speeds of 20 Mbps or higher.
• A reliable, modern computer with a CPU score exceeding 10,000 on the cpubenchmark.net rating.
