Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Head Housekeeper is to ensure that the school's interiors, including fabric, fittings, and furniture, are consistently maintained in a clean and orderly condition. This upkeep is essential to support the institution's operational efficiency, educational environment, marketing appeal, and health and safety standards. All cleaning and tidying activities should uphold a high-quality standard to leave a positive impression on staff members, parents, students, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
As an integral member of the non-teaching staff, the Head Housekeeper not only manages cleaning standards but also performs diverse tasks as required by the school. The successful achievement of maintaining cleanliness and orderliness is primarily driven through effective management and supervision of the housekeeper team.
