About the Role
Join a premier team supporting critical Antarctic research and operations through the AIR Alliance, which includes Bouygues Construction Australia and partners. This role offers an exceptional chance to work on influential and pioneering projects in one of Earth's most demanding environments.
Position Overview
The Quality Graduate will actively assist the Alliance's quality management efforts focusing on quality assurance activities, compliance checks, audits, investigations, reporting, and projects aimed at continuous improvement. Collaborating extensively with various stakeholders, the role ensures adherence to regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards while promoting smooth operation of the Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Alliance quality policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned quality tasks and projects promptly.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity in quality-related data and reports.
- Support the establishment and upkeep of the Quality Management System.
- Assist in meeting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage document control including reviewing and updating procedures and work instructions.
- Maintain thorough quality records and documentation within SharePoint.
- Help develop and maintain the Internal Audit Schedule.
- Coordinate audit logistics and track corrective actions to closure.
- Promote continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen techniques.
- Support quality and compliance activities linked to the Topside Program and its milestones through January 2027.
- Assist in reviewing and enforcing Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring supplier compliance.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure documentation aligns with quality requirements.
- Manage quality risk processes including identification, assessment, tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate mandatory quality training and induction records.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Science, Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001.
- Basic knowledge of continuous improvement frameworks like Lean or Six Sigma, audit methodologies, and risk management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, notably Excel, Word; Power BI skills are advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong accuracy.
- Effective at managing multiple competing priorities under deadlines.
