Role Overview
Join Vitaco as the National Business Manager overseeing the Pharmacy Channel, where you'll lead the partnership with the Sigma Healthcare Group, including major retail pharmacy brands such as Chemist Warehouse, Amcal, Discount Drug Stores, and Sigma Wholesale. This pivotal position focuses on driving profitable sales growth, enhancing strategic partnerships, and establishing Vitaco as the category leader in vitamins, minerals, supplements, and sports nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategic account plans aimed at increasing revenue, profitability, market share, and distribution.
- Lead Joint Business Planning processes, manage annual trade negotiations, and conduct customer business reviews.
- Oversee customer profit and loss statements, forecasting, trade investments, cooperative funding, and evaluate ROI to optimize commercial results.
- Utilize customer, category, shopper, and market data to uncover growth opportunities and develop compelling commercial proposals.
- Foster strong relationships with buyers, merchandise managers, and senior stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Field Sales to achieve excellent customer outcomes.
- Coach and develop an Account Analyst and support a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success managing national key accounts in FMCG, retail pharmacy, healthcare, or nutrition sectors.
- Proven ability delivering profitable growth via strategic planning, commercial negotiations, and joint business initiatives.
- Strong commercial skills, including expertise in managing P&Ls, forecasting, trade investments, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities, particularly with senior-level customer stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with skill in interpreting market, category, and customer data to spot commercial opportunities.
- Collaborative leadership approach capable of motivating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
