Position Overview
This permanent night shift role (10:00pm to 6:30am) is based in the Inwards Goods Warehouse at our Whangarei facility. The warehouse storeperson will perform critical duties ensuring smooth inventory management and stock handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts regularly.
- Manage stock replenishments efficiently.
- Carry out manual handling tasks as required.
- Pick orders accurately for dispatch.
- Put away incoming stock correctly.
- Rotate stock to maintain quality and freshness.
- Utilise RF scanning technology to verify data accuracy.
- Lift heavy raw materials at times, up to 25 kilograms.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid New Zealand Reach Truck License is mandatory.
- Experience working in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Holding valid reach truck and counterbalance forklift licenses.
- Familiarity with RF scanning systems.
- Competent numerical skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Excellent punctuality and reliable attendance record.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment checks including numeracy/literacy tests, medical and drug screening, and criminal background verification.
