About the Role
Vitaco, a leading health and wellness company renowned for trusted brands like Musashi, Nutra-Life, Healtheries and Athena, seeks a commercially savvy and customer-focused National Business Manager to lead the Sigma Healthcare Group partnership. This significant position oversees key customers such as Chemist Warehouse, Amcal, Discount Drug Stores, and Sigma Wholesale, driving profitable sales growth and establishing Vitaco as a category leader in vitamins, minerals, supplements, and sports nutrition.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategic account plans that enhance revenue, profitability, market share, and distribution.
- Lead Joint Business Planning activities along with annual trading negotiations and customer business assessments.
- Oversee customer profit and loss statements, forecasting, trade investment, cooperative funding, and return on investment to optimize commercial results.
- Leverage customer, category, shopper, and market insights to uncover growth opportunities and develop compelling business proposals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with Buyers, Merchandise Managers, and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate across multiple departments including Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Field Sales to achieve excellent customer outcomes.
- Mentor and support an Account Analyst while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable success handling major national accounts within FMCG, retail pharmacy, healthcare, or nutrition sectors.
- Proven track record in driving profitable growth through strategic customer plans, negotiations, and Joint Business Planning.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing customer financials, forecasting, trade spend, and ROI.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building abilities with senior customer executives.
- Analytical thinker adept at utilizing customer, category, and market data to identify business opportunities.
- Collaborative leadership style capable of motivating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
