About the role
Join Wabtec Corporation’s global Friction & Rubber Group and help shape marketing for a portfolio of friction and elastomer solutions used across rail, industrial, and powersports markets. This position sits within an international product-line setting and works closely with Sales, Engineering, and Communications to support innovative, sustainability-focused offerings such as Green and Blue Friction technologies.
In this role, you will contribute to global marketing efforts that strengthen product positioning, sharpen value propositions, and support go-to-market planning. You will help create customer-facing and sales support content, assist with launches, and improve communication across the product line in a technically complex and sustainability-driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Help plan and execute worldwide marketing activities for the product line.
- Shape messaging, value propositions, and product positioning.
- Develop and update marketing assets and sales-enablement materials.
- Support launch campaigns and portfolio communication work.
- Research market trends and review competitor activity.
- Assist with trade shows, customer events, and internal marketing projects.
- Work in close coordination with cross-functional teams across regions.
What we’re looking for
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- Several years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in B2B or an industrial setting.
- Strong curiosity about technology, mobility, and sustainability topics.
- A structured, proactive approach and solid communication ability.
- Prior exposure to cross-functional and/or international teamwork is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
