Join Farrago as our Social Media and Marketing Lead, where you will play an integral role in managing artist relations, overseeing event coordination, and driving marketing initiatives to elevate the visibility of our vibrant creative community.

We are an energetic collective of friends who have cultivated a flourishing events enterprise. This upcoming season includes launching a podcast, hosting a music conference, organizing two festivals, and debuting our agency. Our mission is to nurture a lively arts community and deliver meaningful opportunities to our artists.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, personalized relationships with artists, understanding their ambitions and requirements.
- Book artists for residency programs in diverse venues including Ninety One Living Room, TAM, Lounges.TV’s studio, and other performance slots.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure artists meet their contracted performance obligations, acting as the agency's ambassador.
- Research and secure external performance opportunities at venues and corporate events to generate new business through established and emerging contacts.
- Innovate strategies in partnership with artists and clients to promote and expand artists’ reach, including client meetings.
- Work alongside the CEO to ensure prompt collection and processing of artist invoices.
- Gather and organize essential event-related details from artists such as technical requirements, guest lists, and biographies.
- Assist the CEO with event preparations including venue coordination, contractor bookings, and contract documentation.
- Support event logistics on-site, including assisting with sound checks, poster placements, and managing admissions.
Required Background and Skills
- Solid awareness of the grassroots music and arts scene.
- Preferably, prior involvement with artist management agencies as an agent (not mandatory).
- Proven ability to strategize and implement artist career management plans.
- Driven, optimistic, and committed to advocating for artists’ success.
- Empathetic and adaptable to artist needs, offering attentive support.
- Strong multitasking capabilities, proactive problem solving, and initiative in seeking new contracts.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to remain composed and effective under stressful conditions.
