Job description
About the Role
Banff Hospitality Collective (BHC) is looking for a highly organized, inventive, and digitally fluent marketing professional to support its busy marketing function in Banff. BHC operates a growing portfolio of 17 restaurants and entertainment venues in downtown Banff, each with its own personality while sharing a focus on great food, drinks, and atmosphere.
This position reports to the Director of Media & Marketing, with day-to-day collaboration on digital marketing and data initiatives alongside the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing & Data Insights. The role is a hands-on operations hub for the marketing team, helping keep campaigns, digital assets, web content, brand support, media coordination, and partner processes moving smoothly across multiple brands.
The team is also looking for someone who is comfortable using and testing AI tools to improve workflows, speed up routine tasks, and enhance guest-facing marketing output.
Key Duties
- Support the planning, launch, and ongoing optimization of paid campaigns across Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and similar platforms.
- Run A/B tests on creative and copy, review performance, adjust bids and budgets, and refresh ads to reduce fatigue.
- Combine information from different platforms into detailed wrap reports.
- Update websites through Webflow, including seasonal content, offers, specials, SEO/AEO/GEO metadata, and event listings, while assisting with new page builds when required.
- Explore, test, and apply new AI tools for data transformation and visualization.
- Help produce weekly newsletters and promotional email campaigns, including list segmentation and database cleanup.
- Review and improve online review, reservation, partner, and directory profiles such as OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and Google Business Profile to keep information accurate and search visibility strong.
- Coordinate fulfillment and tracking for partner programs that support hotel and industry relationships.
- Maintain marketing calendars and schedules so internal teams, freelancers, and external partners stay aligned.
- Manage backend marketing administration such as budget tracking, invoice handling, expense records, and software subscription oversight.
- Assist with social content creation, capture, and scheduling using tools like Hootsuite, including organic posts, stories, and reels, while using AI tools for brainstorming, caption drafts, and keyword or hashtag ideas.
- Support media, influencer, and creator visits by organizing itineraries, dining bookings, and filming or photography logistics.
- Monitor media coverage, save press mentions, share wins internally, and use selected coverage in organic or paid marketing efforts.
What the Company Offers
This role comes with a strong benefits and perks package, including a competitive salary, a Monday-to-Friday flexible schedule, a $200 welcome gift card usable at any BHC venue, and 50% off food, wine bottles, and sake for you plus one guest at all BHC locations.
Additional benefits include a training and development allowance, cell phone allowance, extended health coverage starting after 3 months with full premium coverage by BHC, RRSP matching after 3 months, short-term and long-term disability coverage after 3 months, 3 weeks of paid vacation plus statutory holidays, and paid time for community volunteering.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in digital marketing coordination, ad operations, or marketing administration.
- A proactive, analytical problem-solver who can take ownership, make decisions under pressure, and work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Claude, Gemini, Nano Banana, or native platform AI features within everyday marketing work.
- Strong command of Meta Business Manager/Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads; HubSpot for Marketers is an added advantage.
- Hands-on website content management experience, with strong Webflow skills.
- Experience creating, designing, and launching email campaigns and automations, ideally with Mailchimp.
- Working knowledge of social scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Later, or Iconosquare, plus Google Business Profile management.
- Excellent writing skills with a data-driven mindset for ongoing optimization.
- Comfort moving quickly between administrative, analytical, and creative tasks, including photoshoots and field support.
- Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite for quick edits, resizing, and light motion/video work.
- Restaurant or hospitality experience, especially in Banff or another resort destination, is strongly preferred.

Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
