Role overview
Banff Hospitality Collective is hiring a Bar Supervisor for Park, a backcountry lodge-inspired craft distillery located in downtown Banff. Park pairs campfire-style dishes and wood-fired rotisserie offerings with small-batch spirits made in-house. It is the only distillery inside a Canadian national park.
What the role involves
This position supports the Bar Manager in keeping the bar operating efficiently. The focus is on maintaining appropriate inventory levels, controlling stock based on demand and cost goals, preventing unnecessary carrying costs, and making sure service is delivered safely, consistently, and with strong hospitality leadership.

Key responsibilities
- Train and coach bartenders while also helping servers build stronger product knowledge.
- Set the tone on shift by working alongside the team with a hospitality-first and upbeat approach.
- Monitor inventory levels to match business demand and complete ordering, receiving, storage, and invoice processing in a timely way.
- Develop, maintain, and train on a beverage program that complements the food menu, changes with seasons and trends, improves guest experience, and supports sales growth.
- Promote sanitary food-handling practices, cleanliness, and upkeep of the bar area.
- Follow operating standards, company policies, and all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.
- Maintain a polished restaurant presentation, including bar cleanliness, proper uniforms, and professional appearance standards.
- Show commitment to the company brand and team culture.
Requirements and qualifications
- Strong interest in mixology, including classic cocktails and the ability to develop new drinks.
- Comfortable building relationships and connecting well with people.
- Good awareness of the role communication and workplace culture play in team success.
- Collaborative, team-oriented working style.
- Ability to interact with others in a tactful, respectful, and professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, cooperative attitude.
- Supervisory or management experience is an added advantage.
- ProServe certification is required.
- At least 1 year of bartending experience is required.
