Position Summary
This role is dedicated to driving brand expansion by formulating innovative marketing strategies and comprehensive go-to-market plans aimed at both new product launches and sustaining the legacy mascara segment with impeccable execution. Central to the role is leveraging deep consumer insights to craft breakthrough communications supported by data-driven marketing. Additional functions include conducting competitive and business analyses, overseeing media planning and budget expenditure, managing marketing finances, and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders. This position offers an opportunity for a proactive and self-driven individual who combines creativity with analytical skills to fuel growth for this dynamic and popular brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end go-to-market process and timeline coordination for multiple product launches, collaborating with cross-functional partners such as shopper marketing, social, media, and PR teams.
- Develop and implement long-term strategic initiatives.
- Work with Creative teams to design launch collateral including merchandising and sampling materials.
- Present and advocate project plans to senior management.
- Collaborate with Revenue Growth Management, Finance, and Sales on pricing strategies for new products.
- Drive category research, trend analysis, and consumer insights to shape strategic planning.
- Guide the development of business plans and articulate a clear vision for the business units.
- Contribute to overarching category strategy and sales/trade planning.
- Engage with global teams to influence new product development based on competitive and consumer insights.
- Partner with Finance to manage and analyze franchise and product profitability.
- Manage gross margin optimizations and value-added opportunities across existing and new products.
- Oversee the comprehensive forecasting process ensuring financial accuracy and implications are well understood.
- Allocate marketing budgets efficiently across spending categories and brands.
- Collaborate closely with advertising agencies and internal teams to develop innovative consumer communication strategies spanning traditional and digital media.
- Review media strategies and provide consumer-focused feedback to global creative teams.
- Customize creative assets to meet specific U.S. market requirements and optimize media plans based on campaign performance.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking to enhance media campaigns and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment, focused on growth and development.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, including managing one direct report.
- Recommend improvements to team structure and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Between three to six years of marketing experience within consumer packaged goods or the beauty industry.
- Demonstrated operational marketing experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing new product launches and renovations throughout their lifecycle.
- Experience collaborating with R&D and product development teams on innovations and product updates.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranges between $117,300 and $140,000.
