Overview
The role focuses on creating and executing strategic plans aimed at expanding Enterprise sales and strengthening partnerships with key clients in the FMCG sector. The individual will actively seek new business prospects, collaborate with internal teams to meet client requirements, and contribute decisively to the growth and sustainability of MTN Uganda's business in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out strategies to increase Enterprise sales and improve client relationships.
- Boost MTN's market share by expanding segment growth, converting key prospects, and managing key and other buying accounts.
- Promote growth in fixed broadband and voice services including office internet, SME internet, bundled mobility services.
- Increase SME segment's contribution to revenue to 35% by advancing business growth and promoting fiber and LTE/5G services nationwide.
- Drive revenue growth through converged services.
- Meet sales targets aligned with company goals.
- Build and maintain positive business relations with government and enterprise customers.
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities to support customer acquisition and retention.
- Maximize sales penetration within large enterprise sector key accounts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure complete client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate products and services to customers.
Performance Indicators
- Set, execute, and monitor sales objectives that align with company strategies.
- Maintain expert knowledge of MTN's offerings, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Deeply understand client requirements to discover new opportunities.
- Expand existing customer relationships through tailored solutions that satisfy their goals.
- Generate new business by leveraging existing and prospective client networks.
- Develop trusted relationships with major clients to guarantee account retention.
- Successfully manage account portfolios for sustained results.
- Propose measures to enhance sales performance.
- Serve as the primary contact addressing individual customer needs.
- Regularly conduct customer service meetings to review performance and resolve any issues.
- Produce detailed performance reports concerning key account metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications products.
- Between 5 and 10 years of account management experience within a large commercial enterprise environment, including managing government clients.
- Professional background in ICT environments is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Competence in financial deal analysis.
- Proven track record as a sales account manager or executive with focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experienced in delivering sales results and enhancing customer experience.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Understanding of sales performance indicators.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills combined with business insight.
