About ATK Energy Group
ATK Energy Group is a woman-owned, family-operated business uniting several specialized utility and infrastructure companies. These entities collaborate to deliver comprehensive services covering the entire utility lifecycle—from initial design to final restoration after storms. Their expertise spans engineering, project management, safety, siting, storm response, equipment rental, utility construction, and consulting.
Amidst growing pressures like aging infrastructure, tighter timelines, intensified storms, and increasing grid demands, ATK values field experience and integrates safety deeply into all operations.
Role Overview
As a Client Solutions Manager, your mission is to expand ATK's footprint within the electric utility sector by fostering authentic relationships. You will engage directly with utility companies and their representatives to grasp their operational challenges and provide tailored ATK solutions ranging from routine projects to emergency restoration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and build trust with decision-makers at utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, EPC firms, contractors, and industry organizations through outreach, referrals, conferences, site visits, and attentive listening.
- Ask insightful questions addressing client reliability objectives, infrastructure priorities, financial and scheduling constraints, procurement processes, and emergency preparedness.
- Collaborate internally with technical teams to design fitting solutions aligning with client needs.
- Drive opportunities through presentations, proposals, RFP responses, contract negotiations, and necessary administrative procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise records in CRM systems, including account plans, meeting notes, opportunity stages, and follow-up actions.
- Represent ATK at industry events and job sites while managing client communications, especially during storm responses.
Solutions You Will Represent
The role requires mastering ATK’s comprehensive offerings such as storm restoration, engineering services, utility construction (transmission, distribution, substations), independent oversight, quality assurance/quality control, project management, safety, siting and permitting assistance, and logistical support including equipment rental.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in electric utilities, power delivery, utility construction, engineering, storm restoration, infrastructure, or energy services.
- Strong capability to cultivate relationships and advance complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in straightforward terms relevant to clients’ needs.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines independently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft 365, and virtual meeting platforms is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and readiness for frequent travel and occasional off-hours work during storm events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established contacts with investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipal or public power entities, or utility contractors.
- Understanding of transmission and distribution systems, substations, grid hardening, vegetation management, inspections, QA/QC, safety processes, or emergency response operations.
- Experience handling RFPs, proposals, vendor onboarding, master service agreements, rate negotiations, or procurement within utilities.
- Educational background in business, marketing, construction management, engineering, communications, or related disciplines enhances candidacy but practical experience is equally valued.
Why Choose ATK Energy Group?
- Work within a family-driven, woman-owned company that prioritizes field experience and genuine safety practices.
- Represent authentic solutions rather than manufactured products.
- Join a broad network of companies capable of supporting all aspects of utility infrastructure and maintenance.
- The work is impactful, directly contributing to sustaining reliable power for communities.
