Job Summary
CEC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance, Planner, Scheduler (MPS) to join our team, providing essential support to a leading multinational manufacturer client. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency of maintenance operations, improving asset reliability, and ensuring seamless operational flow. As an integral part of our client's embedded team, you will be responsible for orchestrating daily and long-term maintenance schedules, overseeing parts inventory, and leveraging data analytics to drive process enhancements. Your contributions will be crucial in minimizing operational downtime, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting the client's commitment to superior operational performance and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and manage daily and long-term maintenance schedules utilizing Maximo (EAM) and SAP MES (ERP) systems.
- Adapt maintenance plans dynamically to accommodate shifting priorities, urgent requirements, or changes in resource availability.
- Generate, verify, and prioritize work orders, ensuring comprehensive inclusion of all necessary details such as labor, parts, materials, and tools.
- Facilitate planning and scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams including engineering, technicians, and operations management.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and materials, encompassing procurement processes and coordination with vendors.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant industry regulations, client-specific standards, and health and safety protocols.
- Analyze maintenance performance metrics using business intelligence tools to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Submit factory impact requests and effectively communicate planned maintenance activities to the operations department.
- Contribute to sustainability goals by implementing maintenance strategies focused on energy and waste reduction.
Desired Background
- Previous experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CMMS/EAM software, with a preference for Maximo, and experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP MES.
- A solid understanding of various maintenance methodologies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Capability to interpret technical documentation and asset-related information accurately.
- Proven experience in managing spare parts inventory and effectively liaising with suppliers.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the capacity to influence diverse teams across different departments.
Qualifications
- A degree, diploma, or technical certification in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance, Facilities Management, or a closely related field.
- A trade background in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation is considered a significant advantage.
- Completion of training in planning and scheduling methodologies is desirable.
