About the Role
This position is for a client project offering remote contractor work focused on enhancing AI-driven supply chain and logistics optimization. The role pays $40 - $50 per hour and involves applying extensive logistics expertise to improve AI models through real-world data and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and verify logistics documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, inventory records, and shipping paperwork for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and annotate example logistics documents that exemplify best practices and efficient supply chain management.
- Assess current supply chain workflows and suggest actionable improvements grounded in hands-on industry experience.
- Offer detailed feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document integrity, workflow effectiveness, and operational precision.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to elucidate logistics concepts and complex supply chain procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance tasks focused on reviewing logistics datasets used to train and evaluate AI systems.
- Contribute to creating reference materials, standard documentation, and training content that reflect contemporary supply chain operations and industry benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience within logistics, supply chain management, freight operations, procurement, or closely related fields.
- Direct experience handling logistics documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, inventory registers, and shipping documents.
- Strong comprehension of global logistics, inventory handling, freight movement, and supply chain workflows.
- Excellent analytical skills with a track record of identifying and driving operational improvements.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Meticulous attention to detail with capability to scrutinize complex logistics documentation accurately.
- Self-driven and able to work independently within a remote collaborative environment while respecting deadlines.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Experience in process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives in logistics.
- Knowledge of international shipping protocols, inventory control systems, and standardized supply chain documents.
- Background contributing to documentation, standards creation, or training material development.
