Job description
About the role
Aston Martin is looking for a Lifestyle Press Officer to join its Communications function in Gaydon. The role sits within a globally recognised luxury brand that works across automotive, lifestyle, culture and entertainment, and it offers the chance to help shape how the brand is presented to the world.
What you will do
Reporting to the Lifestyle Communications Manager, you will help plan, roll out and review worldwide PR activity for the brand, while also supporting wider marketing and communications work across product, corporate and internal communications.
You will lead engaging PR initiatives that strengthen Aston Martin’s profile within the lifestyle space, managing projects from initial idea through delivery and performance review. This includes support for product introductions, international media events, brand partnership activity and creative communications projects.
Working with internal teams and external agencies, you will help make sure messaging stays clear, consistent and effective across multiple international markets. You will also build and sustain relationships with lifestyle journalists, media outlets, influencers and content creators to generate quality coverage and support brand advocacy.
Another key part of the role is overseeing the movement of brand communications, preparing press materials and helping drive an active, always-on communications approach that keeps Aston Martin visible in lifestyle and cultural conversations.
You will also contribute to global partnerships, media experiences, factory visits and drive programmes, making sure every activation reflects the brand’s prestige and standards. Through reporting and media analysis, you will assess how campaigns perform and identify ways to improve future communications activity.
Experience and skills
The ideal candidate will have communications experience gained either in an in-house brand communications team or within a PR agency. You should be comfortable handling multiple priorities at once, writing strong content such as press releases and news articles, and working confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
A practical understanding of the changing media environment is important, including digital, social and non-traditional channels. Experience supporting media events, content production, product launches and campaign activations will also be valuable, as will familiarity with media monitoring, measurement and reporting practices.
Belong at Aston Martin
Aston Martin values the individuality and diversity of its people and aims to create a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported and able to thrive. The company welcomes different backgrounds, identities and perspectives, and encourages applicants who can bring something fresh to the team.
If you need adjustments or support during the hiring process, you are encouraged to get in touch so the application experience can be made accessible for you.
