The organization brings together leading admissions coaching across medical, legal, business, and college pathways, combining software and services to improve a process that has long favored established applicants. Role overview

The company is seeking a Law School Admissions Consultant who has direct experience with admissions committee work and a strong command of the law school admissions process. This is a part-time, remote 1099 contract position that may be performed from anywhere in the United States or Canada.

In this position, you will advise prospective law school candidates on how to strengthen their applications, shape application strategy, improve written materials, and move confidently through each stage of the admissions journey. You will act as a reliable guide for students and families, helping applicants present polished, authentic, and competitive applications to selective law schools.

What you will do

  • Partner with prospective law school applicants to spot gaps in their profiles and help them build stronger application packages.
  • Provide both strategic and hands-on support to students and families on school choice, resumes, recommendations, essays, interviews, and the broader admissions process.
  • Recommend suitable law schools for each student and advise on academic programs, majors, and admissions resources that align with their goals and background.
  • Use trackers and other planning tools to keep applications, milestones, and deadlines organized.
  • Coach students on personal statements and essays by helping with structure, editing, storytelling, and narrative development while preserving the student’s own voice.
  • Keep current with changes, patterns, and best practices in law school admissions so you can give informed guidance on school selection and application strategy.

What we are looking for

  • A graduate of a top 14 U.S. JD program.
  • Prior service on a law school admissions committee, including experience reviewing applications and participating in admit or deny decisions.
  • Background advising or supporting candidates applying to top 14 law schools.
  • Genuine interest in coaching, mentorship, and helping students succeed.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent English reading, writing, and editing skills, especially for essays and personal statements.
  • Strong verbal communication and professional written communication skills.
