Role Summary
We are seeking a professional to join our Global Centers in Mumbai within the Investment Banking Division. The role involves supporting deal execution, preparing marketing materials like pitchbooks, conducting research and analysis, and providing process support to coverage and product teams across Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, and Mergers and Acquisitions globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global team members across the Investment Banking Division to deliver comprehensive support for client coverage and capital market activities, including internal management tasks.
- Create marketing assets such as pitchbooks, information memoranda, roadshow presentations, analyst briefings, and company profiles.
- Conduct financial analyses including benchmarking metrics, capital structure examination, firepower assessments, and interpreting results.
- Perform company valuations through financial modeling and relative valuation techniques.
- Collect and evaluate financial and operational data on companies, industries, and governments to analyze performance and inform strategic client discussions.
- Develop insights on industry and macro market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes.
- Maintain and update key databases used by senior management and deal teams.
- Prepare presentations and memoranda for senior audiences within the firm.
- Support various administrative duties essential to deal flow and business operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess an MBA, CA, Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in related areas.
- Strong interest in corporate finance and capital markets.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with global teams.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities comfortable with financial data.
- Flexible and capable of multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- A team-oriented mindset with a robust work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Capacity to manage expectations and operate under pressure.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- Experience or knowledge in programming, coding, or AI tools is an advantage.
