Role Overview

This Analyst role provides comprehensive exposure to global mergers and acquisitions. Due to the firm's focused size, Analysts gain significant experience and close interaction with senior professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed client presentations analyzing financial data of companies and industries.
• Conduct valuation using various methods, financial modeling, and combination and merger analyses.
• Support financing, structuring, and due diligence activities.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, client news flow, and financial updates using specialized media outlets.
• Manage client mandates pertaining to mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and other financial advisory services.
• Contribute to live transactions by creating buyer lists, drafting confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, and liaising with legal and accounting advisors.
• Engage with clients at multiple organizational levels below the board.
• Provide coaching and development support to interns alongside other ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications and Skills

• Outstanding academic achievement from a top-tier university.
• Strong work ethic with the capability to excel under pressure and attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical, logical reasoning, and communication abilities to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated commercial insight and keen interest in transaction advisory.
• Proven leadership and active involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English languages.
• Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking at a leading institution is mandatory.
