The Singapore Corporate Banking team focuses on offering a broad portfolio of banking products to non-Japanese corporations. Their product suite includes foreign exchange and derivatives, loan facilities, trade and cash management services, advisory, and structured finance solutions.

Role Overview
- Assist in the origination and execution of credit transactions for non-Japanese clients headquartered in Singapore within the Corporate Banking Department.
- Develop detailed credit applications involving financial and industry analyses, financial modeling, and risk assessment for transactions.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the credit approval teams, addressing any credit issues related to clients.
- Manage the loan documentation process, including negotiations and coordination with both internal and external legal counsel.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, and AML to ensure efficient credit facility execution and loan disbursements.
- Conduct continuous credit monitoring covering financial updates, covenant compliance, and relevant news concerning clients.
- Offer credit-related guidance and recommendations to relationship managers.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- A minimum of 1 to 4 years experience in credit analysis or related finance roles.
- Strong capability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
- Experience in preparing credit applications and proposals.
- Familiarity with loan documentation procedures.
