Financial Analyst - FP&A (Gaming)

Key Duties

• Deliver financial planning and reporting assistance for multiple casino departments including Table Games, Slots, Sales, Marketing, and other gaming support units.
• Prepare regular financial and operational reports such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for internal stakeholders, management, and corporate teams.
• Collaborate with business units, accounting, and revenue optimization teams to analyze financial performance, study budget and forecast variances, and monitor key performance indicators to identify concerns.
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of financial drivers to support accurate monthly performance forecasts.
• Address inquiries from business units related to gaming financial outcomes.
• Assist in financial evaluations of marketing initiatives, promotions, and customer segments, focusing on profitability and margin analysis.
• Drive continuous enhancements in reporting workflows, tools, and analytical models by employing automation and authorized AI technologies to improve financial insights.
• Contribute to the annual operating budget process and generate relevant budget reporting materials.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate capital expenditure requests (PRF).
• Handle ad-hoc financial analyses, projects, and related assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in finance, audit, analytics, hospitality, or gaming sectors.

Skills and Attributes

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge or experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or IBM Planning Analytics is a plus.
• Demonstrates independence, resourcefulness, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proactive and curious approach.
• Highly organized with a process-driven mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communicator, capable of clearly presenting information and preparing insightful financial reports for management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace and adaptability to shifting priorities.
