Role overview

Asahi Beverages is hiring an Inventory Controller for its Supply Chain team on a fixed-term secondment. This role is suited to someone wanting to take on greater responsibility, expand their operational understanding, and gain hands-on exposure to warehousing, logistics, and inventory control.

What you will do

In this position, you will support accurate inventory management throughout the distribution network. By working closely with warehouse, transport, planning, and manufacturing teams, you will help maintain stock integrity and keep product movement through the supply chain running smoothly.

Key accountabilities

  • Review inventory variances, identify the cause of stock issues, and help close them out.
  • Take part in stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory audit activities.
  • Monitor stock on hold, slow-moving or aged inventory, and claims related to transport damage.
  • Keep inventory master records up to date and help ensure SAP and WMS data remain accurate.
  • Work with operational teams to strengthen inventory controls and improve processes.
  • Support product recall activities and contribute to continuous improvement work.
