About the Role
Join our inclusive team in Sale, VIC, as an Employment Consultant supporting individuals with disabilities to find meaningful employment and reach their potential. This role offers a chance to blend direct participant support with employer engagement, sales, and administrative tasks, delivering impactful employment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist participants facing barriers such as disability, injury, or long-term unemployment to become job-ready.
- Promote candidates to employers and create job opportunities through relationship building and proactive outreach.
- Establish and maintain strong connections with local businesses to develop sustainable employment pathways.
- Provide coaching on resume writing, interview techniques, and job search strategies, as well as access to training and upskilling.
- Advocate actively for participants with employers to secure job placements and opportunities including job trials and wage subsidies.
- Manage employer pipelines through cold calling, visits, and face-to-face meetings to generate and convert leads into placements.
- Monitor compliance, maintain records, and track participant progress and KPI achievement.
- Celebrate participant milestones and successful placements to enhance engagement and confidence.

- Meeting and exceeding key performance indicators related to placements, engagement, and activities.

About You
- A confident communicator skilled at building relationships, especially with employers.
- Experienced in sales, recruitment, business development, or roles involving customer engagement.
- Driven by passion for helping people overcome barriers and motivated to succeed.
- Resilient, target-focused, and strong in managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Additional Information
- Eligibility to work in Australia is required.
- Must hold a current driver's license and have a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Possession of MyGovID at the Standard level is necessary.
- Successful candidates must complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
