Overview
This is a remote HR and administration specialist opportunity with Crossing Hurdles. The work is structured as a part-time engagement and the expected commitment is 10 to 40 hours per week. The role supports HR operations, administrative coordination, and project work connected to research and enterprise initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hiring activities and help organize onboarding for new joiners.
- Coordinate payroll-related tasks and support benefits administration processes.
- Draft, assess, and refine HR policies so they remain compliant and operationally sound.
- Create clear documentation and practical guidance on HR procedures and best practices.
- Work with internal stakeholders in an asynchronous setup on workforce planning and administration tasks.
- Use HR domain knowledge to contribute to AI-oriented research and enterprise assignments.
Requirements
- Hands-on background in HR operations, recruitment, or administrative management.
- Working knowledge of payroll platforms, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent organization skills and a careful eye for detail.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, project-based environment.
