Role Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator plays an integral role as the primary HR contact for employees, facilitating smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, and supporting various employee administration tasks. This position demands proactive involvement in employee integration, data management, report generation, and continuous process enhancements alongside the HR team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee HR inquiries, addressing or redirecting them promptly.
- Assist in the administration of onboarding and exit procedures for new and departing staff.
- Welcome new employees weekly, aiding their initial integration experience.
- Manage administrative functions related to employee changes such as transfers, promotions, and leaves in coordination with Employee Services, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
- Produce HR reports as required to support operational needs.
- Input employee information into various systems focusing on record keeping and attendance monitoring.
- Partner with HR colleagues to refine and optimize HR workflows continuously.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a human resources role with comparable duties.
- University degree or college diploma specialized in Human Resources.
- Proficient with technology and MS Office applications.
- Experience using Dayforce HRIS system is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-conscious, and initiative-driven.
