Compensation and Benefits

• Starting hourly wage of CAD 25.75, with overtime pay applicable after 44 hours weekly

Role Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize various categories of ferrous metals
• Operate the RECY system to weigh and document truck loads accurately when necessary
• Carry out general site and premises maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly workplace
• Maintain equipment in proper working state
• Deliver excellent customer service to site visitors and clients
• Operate forklift machinery as needed
• Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout daily operations

Candidate Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills
• Experience operating crane equipment
• Knowledge or previous work experience in metal recycling considered beneficial
• Capable of working in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
• Good physical fitness to meet job demands
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
