Role Overview: National Account Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and results-focused National Account Manager to spearhead AIM Honeycomb's expansion strategy across the United States. This pivotal role involves growing the supplier network, developing commercial partnerships, and enhancing market presence. The position requires building strong relationships with automotive recyclers, dismantlers, salvage yards, automotive groups, and industrial clients nationwide, establishing Honeycomb as the trusted partner for catalyst recycling and recovery.

The role demands strategic account growth coupled with direct supplier engagement and effective commercial execution. The National Account Manager will operate remotely but must be ready for extensive national travel up to 60% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, establish, and secure long-term purchasing and toll refining agreements that promote volume growth, profitability, and margins.
  • Lead national sourcing efforts focused on automotive and related precious metal-bearing materials.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new suppliers while nurturing and expanding current accounts.
  • Manage bids, design tolling agreements, and formulate competitive pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular onsite supplier visits including auto recyclers, dismantlers, scrap processors, and industrial accounts across the country.
  • Create and execute territory and growth plans by maintaining face-to-face engagement and proactive account management.
  • Enhance supplier confidence through clear communication and consistent relationship management.
  • Represent AIM Honeycomb at industry trade shows, conferences, and supplier meetings to grow market share.
  • Analyze market and competitor trends to fine-tune pricing, margin, and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, logistics, administration, and finance to ensure flawless commercial execution.
  • Utilize supplier insights and field intelligence to continuously improve commercial results, service offerings, and supplier satisfaction.
  • Employ CRM systems, analytics, and market intelligence to manage sales pipelines, forecast volumes, identify opportunities, and enhance commercial outcomes.
  • Act as the main commercial representative for AIM Honeycomb within strategic national accounts and key supplier relations.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Has a minimum of five years experience in B2B sales, national account management, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and expanding strategic national accounts.
  • Experienced in negotiating commercial contracts and achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Self-driven and motivated, capable of working independently in a predominantly remote and field-based role.
  • Prepared for national travel commitments up to 60% of the time.
  • Proficient with CRM technologies and adept at leveraging analytics to promote business growth.
  • Skilled at recognizing new business opportunities, building pipelines, and converting prospects into long-term partners.
  • Industry experience in automotive, metal recycling, or related fields is advantageous.
