Role Summary

The HR Business Partner for Commercial and Business Units will provide strategic HR support primarily to the Americas region's commercial organizations, including IDT and Aldevron, while also assisting with certain human resources tasks for the EMEA team. This remote contract position is initially for 3 months with potential extension, working typically 8am-5pm and paying $40 per hour on W2 without benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and collaboratively manage employee relations issues and investigations, proactively addressing challenges with innovative solutions.
• Influence leadership at multiple levels on problem resolution, dispute management, performance enhancement, regulatory compliance, and avoiding litigation.
• Support efforts to engage, retain, and develop associates through both programmatic initiatives and coaching.
• Advise leaders on talent management, organizational design, and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Manage the performance management process including calibration sessions, coaching on difficult conversations, and designing performance improvement and development plans.
• Provide guidance on interpreting and applying local employment laws and HR practices across different states.
• Partner with clients on workforce movements such as transfers, promotions, and job enhancements, ensuring alignment with talent needs, development plans, career paths, company leveling frameworks, and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resource management.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience serving as an HR Business Partner supporting commercial functions, with proven skills in leadership coaching, negotiation, and delivering thoughtful, collaborative solutions.
• Experience driving organizational change and effectively managing multiple competing priorities and project timelines.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, fostering a team-oriented environment with productive and trustworthy work relationships.

Working Conditions and Additional Details

This role primarily covers the Americas region but includes some downstream support for the EMEA team, such as contract and employee relations documentation. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate EMEA time zones. The position offers a remote work environment on a contract basis, compensated at $40 hourly with no additional benefits.
