Role Overview

The HR Marketing Specialist plays a key role within the Group Human Resources department by designing and executing marketing and communication campaigns to promote HR programs, events, and opportunities internally at OCBC. This role requires a blend of excellent communication, creative storytelling, and project management skills to engage employees and ensure impactful messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with employees to uncover genuine stories, career paths, and cultural insights.
  • Create engaging, long-form blog posts, articles, and web content for careers and internal platforms.
  • Write captivating social media copy tailored for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
  • Develop concise internal communications such as announcements, newsletters, and team highlights.
  • Organize and execute photo and video shoots at offices and company events, handling camera and lighting equipment.
  • Edit photos and videos professionally using Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools to produce social media-optimised content.
  • Design branded visual assets, social media graphics, event materials, and internal communication collateral using Canva, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Support marketing campaigns for internal programmes and events by developing communication plans with clear timelines and channel strategies.
  • Create event-related content including banners, save-the-date graphics, recap posts, and highlight videos.
  • Manage multiple content projects concurrently, coordinating with internal stakeholders to align messaging with business goals.
  • Maintain a content calendar and monitor performance metrics of published content.
  • Coordinate external vendors or freelancers when necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses 2 to 4 years of professional experience in employer branding, internal communications, or content marketing.
  • Demonstrates exceptional writing skills, crafting clear and engaging copy suited to diverse audiences and channels.
  • Experienced in photography and videography, including quality editing capabilities.
  • Proficient in Canva with a strong visual design sensibility.
  • Adept at managing multiple simultaneous projects within tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and extracting authentic, on-brand stories.
  • Experienced in planning and marketing internal events or programmes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all organizational levels.
