Role Overview
Join our Global Corporate Banking Strategy team to influence and drive the strategic direction of our corporate banking franchise across diverse geographies, business units, and industry sectors. This role offers an extensive view of corporate banking growth dynamics within a fast-paced setting that emphasizes clarity and decisive action. Collaborating with senior leaders, you will lead strategic projects that shape the franchise's performance and growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Support divisional leaders to define, prioritize, and implement strategic initiatives within the Global Corporate Banking network, ensuring alignment with annual planning and execution goals.
- Create clear, structured presentation materials and storyboards to aid strategy discussions both internally and externally, including engagements with regulators and strategic partners.
- Facilitate collaboration among Group entities, product teams, functional partners, and business units across Global Corporate Banking.
- Organize divisional staff events such as townhalls and strategy workshops to reinforce priorities and promote organizational alignment.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced qualification like an MBA is preferred.
- Bring at least 8 years of pertinent experience in Strategy, Business Analytics, Finance & Planning, or Corporate/Commercial Banking within financial services.
- Have a solid grasp of the Institutional/Wholesale Banking sector, with banking or financial services experience preferred.
- Demonstrate strong PowerPoint skills with the capacity to distill complex data into executive-level presentations and insights.
- Exhibit ability to collaborate effectively with product teams and cross-functional partners including Risk, Compliance, and Operations & Technology.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at various seniority levels.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with proven results under tight deadlines.
