HR Business Partner - Human Resources (Entry Level)

About the Role

Primary Talent Partners seeks an entry-level HR Business Partner to support a multinational science and technology company. This 3-month W2 contract role is fully remote, primarily focused on supporting the AMR region's commercial organizations and providing auxiliary support to the EMEA HR team. The position reports to the Director of HR for Commercial and Business Units and offers potential contract extension.

Compensation and Work Schedule

The hourly wage ranges from $35 to $40, paid on a W2 basis with no paid time off or benefits. An ACA-compliant supplemental insurance package is available. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States under Primary Talent Partners' W2 without requiring sponsorship. The typical workday is 8 AM to 5 PM, with East Coast time zone preference and flexibility to adjust hours to accommodate some EMEA HR responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate on employee relations issues, supporting investigations and resolving moderately complex human capital challenges in partnership with leadership.
• Influence leadership at multiple levels to address problem-solving, dispute resolution, performance enhancement, regulatory compliance, and litigation avoidance.
• Advance associate engagement, development, and retention through program implementation and coaching while advising leaders on talent and organizational design issues.
• Manage execution of the performance management cycle including calibration sessions, coaching leadership through difficult conversations, and preparing performance improvement and development plans.
• Interpret and apply local employment laws and business practices across states, offering guidance consistent with legal requirements.
• Assist with internal mobility decisions such as transfers, promotions, and job enhancements aligned with talent needs, career pathing, company leveling, and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or human resource management.
• Five or more years in HR business-related roles, including at least 3-5 years as an HR Business Partner.
• Proven ability to coach and influence leadership teams while delivering collaborative and thoughtful HR solutions.
• Experience supporting commercial functions through organizational change and managing competing priorities and projects.
• Leadership experience, directly or indirectly, with a track record of fostering team environments and productive relationships.
