About the Role
The Human Resource Associate Partner position offers administrative and operational assistance to the management team, ensuring smooth human resource functions within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Resolving system flags related to attendance and assessing attendance points for associates with unexcused absences;
- Collecting and organizing time off requests from managers and associates, securing necessary managerial approvals for vacation requests;
- Ensuring accurate coding of paid and unpaid time categories such as Vacation (VACP), Paid Personal Time (PERS), Voluntary Time Off (VTO), and Lack of Work (LOW) for associates;
- Processing attendance points corrections for staffing agency associates and Amazon associates as directed by HR or site leaders;
- Tracking, identifying, and reconciling missing punch data including in, out, and lunch breaks;
- With managerial consent, clearing discrepancies related to Time Off Task flags;
- Recording orientation punches for staffing agency new hires;
- Entering corrective action documentation into Amazon’s GAPS system;
- Researching associate counseling histories to verify levels and dates of past counselings or compiling performance summaries to aid managerial decision-making regarding terminations;
- Submitting counseling records for both Amazon and staffing agency associates while managing approvals and documentation for managerial delivery;
- Printing and organizing attendance counseling documentation for managers;
- Publishing associate attendance rates per scheduled shifts;
- Providing support to associates by addressing queries regarding points and leave balances, escalating and resolving discrepancies as necessary;
- Additional support tasks may include assisting with safety and dock audits by conducting them or preparing documents for managerial review;
- Aiding managers in generating, tracking, and updating production and operational reports and contributing to related project work.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience in human resources;
- At least 6 months customer service experience;
- 6 months familiarity with Microsoft Office applications;
- Experience working in confidential settings;
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 1 year of human resources experience;
- More than 1 year of customer service experience;
- More than 1 year of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
