Role overview
This senior leadership role is based in Riyadh and is focused on building new growth engines across the wider organisation. The position is responsible for spotting, shaping, and delivering opportunities that open additional revenue streams, improve collaboration between business units, and strengthen the company’s market position over the long term.
The role partners closely with executive leaders to drive expansion into new sectors, services, and markets. It also carries exposure to board-level discussions and decision-making, making it an executive-track opportunity with significant strategic influence.
Core objectives
- Develop fresh revenue streams across the group.
- Find and activate opportunities for collaboration between business units.
- Create strategic platforms, alliances, and partnership models.
- Back senior leadership on corporate growth priorities.
Primary responsibilities
- Spot growth opportunities that align with the organisation’s long-term direction.
- Design and roll out new revenue platforms spanning multiple business units.
- Carry out commercial and feasibility reviews for proposed corporate initiatives.
- Turn strategic priorities into practical, executable business opportunities.
- Identify ways to connect capabilities across existing divisions.
- Build integrated offerings that draw on multiple business unit strengths.
- Work with business unit leaders to implement synergy-driven initiatives.
- Measure, monitor, and report the value created through synergy initiatives.
- Track emerging sectors, technologies, and service models for future expansion.
- Shape commercial models for new business lines and verticals.
- Lead the development of new corporate platforms and support early-stage launches.
- Engage global partners, technology providers, and investors for strategic collaboration.
- Structure partnerships, joint ventures, and co-development arrangements.
- Support executive negotiations and manage high-level relationships.
- Ensure partnerships deliver measurable revenue and strategic benefit.
- Identify acquisition and investment targets that fit corporate growth priorities.
- Build business cases, valuation models, and financial analyses for new opportunities.
- Support due diligence and transaction structuring activities.
- Assist senior leadership with investment decisions.
- Help the CEO and senior team strengthen relationships with strategic clients.
- Develop long-term programmes with key government and strategic accounts.
- Position the organisation as a strategic partner rather than a transaction-based contractor.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-value corporate opportunities.
- Rank initiatives based on strategic alignment and expected financial returns.
- Present opportunities to executive leadership and the board.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is required.
- An MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- 10 to 18 years of experience in corporate business development, strategic planning, or investment-related roles.
- Background in infrastructure, energy, industrial, or EPC environments is expected.
- Demonstrated success in launching new business lines, leading corporate initiatives, and building strategic partnerships or investments.
