Job description
About Avelios Medical
Avelios is building a modular healthcare software platform designed to unlock clinical data and improve hospital operations. The product helps digitize and streamline workflows with modern technology and an easy-to-use experience, enabling doctors, nurses, and hospitals to deliver stronger patient care.
The company is expanding quickly and is looking to grow both its team and business in order to drive meaningful digital transformation across healthcare. Different professional backgrounds are valued, and diversity is seen as a core strength.
Role Overview
As Head of Marketing, you will not be stepping into an existing framework. Instead, you will be responsible for creating the marketing function from the ground up and helping shape the company’s narrative, brand direction, and growth strategy for the next phase of scaling.
The position also offers the opportunity to make an impact beyond traditional marketing outcomes. By supporting the adoption of AI-native software in hospitals, this role contributes to the modernization of a critical part of society’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the company’s reputation as a credible healthcare leader by turning market insights, customer expectations, and product strengths into a compelling growth story.
- Plan and run multi-channel demand generation initiatives focused on measurable business impact, using testing and performance analysis to improve results.
- Develop audience-specific content that informs stakeholders and strengthens the company’s position as a thought leader in AI-driven healthcare transformation.
- Recruit, guide, and develop a compact but effective marketing team, while also working closely with external agencies and other partners.
Candidate Profile
- You should have a degree from a top business school with a marketing focus, or a background in journalism.
- You need relevant experience in a comparable marketing leadership role, preferably gained in a strong agency, scale-up, or SaaS setting.
- Strong leadership ability and an entrepreneurial drive to execute quickly are important.
- You should have a genuine interest in healthcare technology and be able to produce polished, engaging communication for hospital and healthcare audiences.
- Very strong German and English skills are required, both in writing and speaking.
Benefits
- Opportunity to establish the marketing function in a scale-up supported by leading international investors, SAP, and Fresenius.
- An open, international, and informal team culture with the chance to directly influence the company’s growth and success.
- Virtual stock options (VSOP) as part of the long-term value creation.
- Monthly meal support of up to 75 euros, full coverage of the Deutschlandticket, access to Urban Sports Club or a subsidized Wellpass membership, a bike leasing option, and Corporate Benefits discounts across a wide range of providers.
