About the Role

PrepayPower seeks a Head of Field Sales to lead and expand a dynamic field sales team focused on achieving key installation, revenue, and customer onboarding goals. This position entails offering strategic guidance to sales units across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and fostering a customer-first sales culture that supports enduring client loyalty and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute effective field sales plans segmented by geography and market, aligned with overall company goals.
  • Set and monitor targets for revenue, installations, and new customer acquisitions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis across all field channels.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Identify and pursue new avenues for business growth, including directed lead generation campaigns aimed at SMEs.
  • Focus efforts on priority markets using demographic, heating system, and PAYG penetration data.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-achieving field sales team.
  • Lead Regional Sales Managers to optimize overall team output.
  • Track individual and group performance regularly, provide feedback, and manage underperformance through improvement plans or necessary exits.
  • Cultivate a results-oriented, motivated, and customer-focused team atmosphere.
  • Ensure accurate CRM utilization for lead tracking, forecasting, and reporting to support informed decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal departments to meet project completion and financial objectives.
  • Monitor operational productivity and efficiency across sales regions.
  • Promote a sales approach centered on delivering a positive, compliant, and sustainable experience to customers.
  • Address and resolve any client issues arising during sales interactions.
  • Leverage customer insights to drive continuous service enhancements.
  • Ensure all field sales activities adhere to legal regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Safeguard the company's reputation by maintaining ethical sales practices.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and reports.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience in direct or field sales environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and customer acquisition goals.
  • Experience managing and mentoring large, geographically diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and CRM tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-departmental collaboration capabilities.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in sales.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in utilities, PAYG, energy sectors, or regulated consumer markets.
  • Track record in expanding field sales operations within rapidly growing businesses.
