About the Role

Nanango State School is seeking a Head of Department (Curriculum) who will champion curriculum excellence and foster outstanding teaching and learning. This role involves steering evidence-based practices, enhancing staff skills through coaching and professional development, and elevating student achievement within a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of curriculum initiatives across the school.
  • Develop staff capabilities via instructional leadership, mentoring, and targeted professional learning.
  • Utilize data and evidence to direct curriculum enhancements and assess student performance.
  • Collaborate with the school’s leadership team to implement whole-school strategies and promote ongoing enhancements.
