Job description

About inquirED

Founded by educators, inquirED strives to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences to every student. We are expanding rapidly, serving more teachers and students daily. Our product suite includes Inkwell, an integrated English Language Arts and social studies curriculum; Inquiry Journeys, an elementary social studies program fostering in-depth social studies knowledge and inquiry skills; and Great First Eight, a PreK–2 foundational literacy curriculum developed in partnership with noted researchers and organizations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of Partner Experience to lead our team that supports districts in transforming curriculum adoption into impactful, sustainable instructional practices. This leadership role involves managing the Partner Experience team to ensure educators and schools receive prompt support, impactful professional development, and a customer journey that encourages lasting success, renewals, and product growth.

As we expand from a flagship product to a diverse offering, you will oversee the operations across all three products, ensuring partners have a seamless and high-quality relationship with inquirED regardless of the products they use. This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to incorporate partner feedback into continuous service improvement and to handle team management, capacity planning, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Partner Experience team, including managing workloads, setting priorities, coaching, and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee comprehensive partner onboarding, training, and implementation support to enable effective curriculum usage from the start.
  • Implement the engagement model for supporting partners across all three curriculum products, managing complex multi-product district engagements, and analyzing capacity stress indicators with data.
  • Track and interpret partner health metrics to proactively identify risks and opportunities for renewals, upselling, and expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Account Management teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation and ongoing partnership maintenance.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between Partner Experience and Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, channeling partner insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Manage and balance operational workloads including partner operations and professional development logistics, recommending staffing, tooling, or process improvements to optimize capacity.
  • Maintain active partner feedback systems to capture success stories and support partner retention and advocacy efforts.
  • Promote a collaborative and proactive team environment and promptly escalate any capacity or risk issues to leadership.
  • Ensure effective utilization of systems such as Gainsight to promote transparent, data-driven decisions across teams.
  • Work primarily remotely with occasional travel averaging one trip per month to visit partner districts, attend team retreats, and company events.

Desired Qualifications

  • More than five years of experience in customer success, partner experience, or implementation leadership, preferably within K–12 education, edtech, or similarly complex, relationship-driven industries.
  • At least two years with direct management experience, demonstrating success in mentoring and enhancing team performance.
  • Ability to operate effectively across multiple products or workflows in evolving organizational structures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to develop and interpret partner health metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, building strong partnerships with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams beyond simple information exchange.
  • High level of operational ownership, able to not only identify but also resolve workflow and capacity challenges through staffing, tooling, or processes.
  • Experience working with schools and districts.
  • Willingness to travel about once per month.

Additional Information

  • Base salary range: $136,950 to $166,000, with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • U.S. residency required.

Employee Benefits and Perks

  • Health insurance and 401(k) retirement plans with company matching.
  • Flexible paid time off and over twelve company-observed holidays.
  • Company retreats twice a year and opportunities for local meetings.
  • Remote work flexibility supported for most roles.
  • Provision of a technology package and a home office stipend.
  • Ongoing professional development including monthly learning sessions.
